    Framing the Problem & Aims

    Writing a compelling problem statement, specific aims, and hypotheses that reviewers can evaluate in one read.

  3. 03

    Literature Positioning

    Summarising the state of the art and your gap in a page, without writing a full review.

  4. 04

    Methodology & Work Plan

    Designing a credible, fundable methodology with milestones, a Gantt-style timeline, and risk mitigation.

  5. 05

    Budget & Justification

    Building a realistic budget, justifying every line item, and matching funder cost rules.

  6. 06

    Significance & Broader Impact

    Articulating scientific, economic, and societal impact, and translating it for non-specialist reviewers.

  7. 07

    Funding Landscape

    Government schemes (ARC, NHMRC, NIH, NSF), university seed grants, industry and philanthropic funding, and matching your project to the right scheme.

  8. 08

    AI-Assisted Drafting

    Using AI to draft, critique, and tighten sections while keeping the scientific voice and claims defensible.

  9. 09

    Review, Resubmission & Rebuttal

    Reading assessor reports, responding to criticism, and strengthening a proposal for resubmission.
